My lovely friend Isabella passed away from Neuroblastoma 3 years ago at the age of 11. Acorns played a big part in Isabella's life and she particularly loved the arts and crafts room.

Acorns Walsall are fundraising to refurbish this room, which has been named 'Isabella's Place' in honour of the wonderful and inspirational little girl who so enjoyed spending time in there.

When Isabella came to stay in Harlech, she sent me a gorgeous photo of her eating ice cream on Blackrock sands. In another memorable photograph, she watched the sunset on Llandanwg beach.

For this reason I have chosen to walk from one beach to the other, a distance of over 15 miles, in memory of Isabella. The money I raise will go towards making Isabella's Place a place where many more children can spend happy times creating special memories.
